9th December 2015 Bulldozer to Sweep Streets Clean of Disease & Corruption



New President and man of the People 'The Bulldozer' has promised to tackle corruption
The new Tanzanian president John Magulfuli, who is the son of a peasant farmer, scrapped the Independence Day celebrations ordering a clean-up of the street saying it would be “shameful” when people are dying of cholera.
Tanzania President John Magufuli nicknamed the bulldozer for his road construction programme also pledged to tackle corruption and has the full support of former president Kikwete.
“I am happy with this exercise. Let us give our president full support n our campaign to fight cholera and other communicable diseases," he said.
“I am very happy with measures he is taking to curb inefficiency, tax evasion and other malpractices in public offices, I am very proud of him.
Said one Dar es Salaam resident: “Tanzania has changed. This is a new Tanzania.”
