DIRECTORATE CHANGE - APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR
Aminex is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr
Sultan Al-Ghaithi, as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate
effect.
Mr Al-Ghaithi has 18 years of industry experience and is
currently Chief Executive Officer of Ara Petroleum LLC where he is responsible
for two subsidiary E&P companies operating in Oman. He is a wellsite
engineer by background and has previously worked with Petroleum Development
Oman and Weatherford International where he was Country and Area Manager in
Oman.
Ara Petroleum LLC is a division of The Zubair Corporation
LLC of Oman which, through Eclipse Investments LLC, holds a beneficial interest
of just under 30% of the Company's issued share capital. Under the terms of the shareholder approved
Shareholder and Relationship Agreement dated 8 July 2016, Eclipse Investments
LLC has the right to appoint two directors.
Mr Al-Ghaithi becomes the second representative director to join the
Aminex Board.
Mr Al-Ghaithi will be proposed for election by
shareholders at the next General Meeting of the Company.
