Speculating but following the announcement in last nights RNS that Mr
Sultan Al-Ghaithi, current CEO of Arla Petroloeum LLC, will become a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate
effect! As chairman Brian Hall has outlined more appointments, could
the next board member come from io_oilandgas, GE_Africa Baker Hughes or McDermott where there is now an established collaboration? Personally, I think any senior appointment from any of those would be music to the ears of Aminex share holders.
AEX Chairman Brian Hall
"During the course of the last year, we have
considerably expanded our management and technical team and, in addition to
today's announcement, we expect to make further Board appointments of
independent non-executive directors in the near future."
Does it sound plausible that any of these big boys could
get a seat on the board? It makes sense to me and particularly io as they are
the ones currently directly involved with our forward looking planning.
I think it's worth remembering what these two top io men said only a 12th September
Robert Dickson, Partner and Business Development Lead
Africa, said:
“io is pleased to have been able to complete this study and bring the io way and expertise to bear. We look forward to a continued engagement with Aminex on this exciting prospect”
Richard Dyson, CEO, said:
“I am really pleased that io has been able to advise Aminex on this strategically important gas monetisation study and welcome the opportunity to continue to build a long-term collaborative relationship with them."
And two months rrior to that, 12th July
Robert Dickson, Partner and Business Development Lead
Africa, said:
“io is looking forward to supporting Aminex and Solo in understanding the commercial options for the exciting Ntorya Gas Development. io will bring greater certainty to the Ntorya Development through our expertise in gas commercialisation technology, gas commercialisation study approach and in leveraging the capabilities of our parents including Baker Hughes a GE company, the only Full-stream Company"
There must be some pretty good reasons in there to feel
confidence don't you think? I certainly do but DYOR
