"We must be able to tell and show the good side of this sector. And this must not be in the form of empty rhetoric but deeds. People must
see and feel that the oil and gas sector is not only good for the country but most importantly good for them" -- Hon. Abdulsamad Abdulrahim" Along with the comment... "To achieve this we need to create meaningful partnerships and build capacity of our local players to effectively join & benefit from the value chain. We need investors to extract and develop them as partners, not as exploiters. It has to be on better terms; win-win terms!" I responded and we exchanged a few lines as follows...

I agree with win-win entirely. Exploitation is bad for everyone. I do have to say though that many investors have lost a lot of money over this recent two year delay and that puts off new investment. Things need to move quickly now, to regain confidence in the country

In Tanzania, we are about to rewrite this narrative of the sector and address its underlying challenges

That is the feeling I get from news coming out of the country and I very much welcome it. As an investor in Aminex I cannot wait for us to resume drilling in Ruvuma following our licence being granted

Standby please !

AminexiaThank you, that comment is very much appreciated and I'm sure my fellow investors will be very happy to read it

I found the comments uplifting and the fact he added a like to each of my comments indicates to me we were on the same wavelength. Of course you can read into it as you will, but things are looking quite close right now and I am beginning to believe more and more that October will be the month for Aminex. A further tweet later reiterated what news had come in the last few days where Ntorya is one of the four fields that have been mentioned...
