Foundation (TPSF) Godfrey Simbeye, said the plants would enable Tanzania to
fully utilize natural gas.
“They will be able to make use of Tanzania’s abundant
natural gas reserves, so far, the country has discovered over 55 trillion cubic
feet of natural gas reserves”, he said.
Simbeye also said the private sector is convinced that
the government’s measures to improve the business climate will soon yield
positive results.
He also said the government has undertaken several
measures to attract investment and called upon the participants at the event to
grab the opportunities.
“Exhibitors need to go beyond bringing products from
abroad and instead, they should consider setting up industries locally so that
we can be able to source the imported products within Tanzania,” Simbeye
said.
